MOURN WITH THOSE THAT MOURN
This phrase took on a whole new meaning to me six months ago when I went through something that scared me. Someone I loved mourned with me in my struggles and taught me what it means. I always thought it meant to comfort others but it clearly says to mourn WITH them- truly sympathize, stand with them, be one with them in their fight to do what is right. To all my black brothers and sisters I stand with you and I love you. I will do the things that I must do to make this world safe for you. I will get uncomfortable.
